Name Calling

You have to name them.
When you have kids, you have to name them.
When you write up your will, you have to name your beneficiaries.
When you have a party, you have to name your guests and invite them.
You have to name them.

We are drawing up future plans for Connections.
We are working to discern our next steps, our goals, and our process for moving forward.

We know this very important thing has to happen-
We have to name them- our plans and goals.

But we also have to name the people we want to include in these plans.

This was very easy when I was getting started.
I meet a few people with musical skills, someone was passionate about kids, another loved Home Groups. So I named them our worship leaders, our family ministry leaders, our Connection Group leader, etc.

But now we are dealing with a larger pool of talent. So in the coming weeks we are going to do some name calling. Calling and naming the people we'd like to step up, to become leaders, to get more involved.
