Connect Four

I love playing this game with my kids.
The real fun is trying to keep them distracted so I can win!

We handed out "Connect 4" cards in worship on Sunday.
We want these to be an ongoing resource for your spiritual growth.

Most who profess to be Christians know that it is essential to our faith that we share our faith.

In our heads we know it's not offense to simple invite our friends.
We know that our relationship with neighbours will only deepen if we are willing to reveal more of ourselves, and share what we love.
We know that our faith will grow as we engage in more conversations about Jesus.

But we are easily distracted from the regular discipline of inviting, loving and praying for our neighbours.  So here's the plan:
  • Write down the names of four people/couples.
  • Then pray for them each day;
  • Love them as your neighbour;
  • And invite them to Connections.
Grab a card.  Place it in your bible or beside your computer.  Let it be a continual reminder to make this a priority.

"In your hearts set apart Christ as Lord.  Always be prepared to give and answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.  But do this with gentleness and respect."
~ 1 Peter 3:15
