but I have to give a shout out to the best book of summer, so far.
The Book of Negroes, by Lawrence Hill
It is devastating, yet inspiring.
But here's the reason behind my blatant plug-
My neighbor is bringing the author to London for a community lecture!
I'll post the date when I know it, but you might want to start reading now.
