Sara's SERVE Trip

Last week Connections celebrated with Sara Hiemstra in her profession of faith in Jesus Christ, and prayed for her first mission trip.
It was an INCREDIBLE honor for me as a pastor.



Sara is now in Ottowa and, we all pray, having an amazing experience.

When I think about this mission trip, and what these youth at doing,
it is enough to bring tears to my eyes.

We've been looking at Matthew 5-7 this summer, the Sermon of the Mount, or as I like to call it- MANIFEST.
It's all about the kingdom of heaven intersecting with our lives, and our world, in Jesus.

Folks, this IS the kingdom of heaven at work in our world.
This is what it means to love Jesus and serve him.
This is the church in some of it's finest work.
