A Resilient Life

More from Gordon Mac...

“Resilient” comes out of positive psychology.
In the past the focus was on the mentally ill and what makes them unhealthy.
Then they asked, "What makes someone healthy?"
What makes someone healthy is resiliency.  Those people who face struggle, grow, and come through to the other side stronger and equipped to help and inspire others.

So, what does the biblically resilient life look like:
1. An Energizing Story
Ask folks their whole life story in 4 minutes when you first meet them, the urgency will cause them to reveal the big stuff really quick: who they are, what they do, are they happy and satisfied with life?

2. Conversion, Call, Character
By what energy do you move forward, by what purpose, and by what qualities?

3. Daily Initiatives
What are your routines?  You will move to the end goal of your life by moving forward everyday.

4. Intimate Community
What are the relationships, and what role to they play in your life?
