E100: One Week In

We are already one week into the E100 Challenge.
(FYI, it's NEVER too late to start.)

We haven't made it out of Genesis, but already we've learned about:

1. The creation of the world and why it's so good (Genesis 1 and 2);
2. What went wrong with the world and why their is evil, hatred, pain and brokenness (Genesis 3);
3. An amazing story of how God hit the "re-set" button on creation (Genesis 6-7);
4. God's promise to a man named Noah, and what that promise means for us (Genesis 8);
5. Why it was so hard for me to learn Spanish in college (Genesis 11);
6. God's plan to bless all the world, and you can be a part of it (Genesis 12);
7. How to cut a covenant, which is really very cool.  It is initiated by God, and invites our participation (Genesis 15).

We waste a lot of time, and a lot of years, saying "Coulda, shoulda, woulda."
Many of you have been saying for ages,
"If only I read the bible more as a kid..."
"I should have a morning bible reading time..."

Well friends, you have today.  So live today the way you want to live.
Read the bible.
Catch up on the E100 plan.
Say a prayer.
Then go and be a blessing to the world as you have been blessed in Jesus Christ!
