Five Things That Can Grow Your Group
Today it's about growing your home group.
Which means that first, you have to be in one of our Connection Groups.
Invite a Friend
Putting a guest in a group makes everyone think about what they say, how they behave, and the atmosphere of the group. And all for the better. It will be a great experience for the friend, and help the group practice hospitality.
Pray for Each Other
Write down everyones name. Pray for them during the week. Then you can actually say to them, "I prayed for you this week." You'll be amazed at how that impacts a group.
Play for Each Other
Plan a group event and go have some fun! Laughing together will take the group to a deeper level of trust and intimacy.
Work for Each Other
Someone has a baby, help them out. Someone has a project at home, help them out. Don't know what else to do, go help someone in your neighborhood out!
Have some Friendly Competition
Last semester we had the "Best Banana Bread Bake-Off." Every week some brought their favorite recipe, and at the end of the semester we took a vote! It was fun, and I got an awesome new BB recipe!
