The Most Important Resolution

This past Sunday we jumped right into our first series for the new year, "2:47 in 2011."
It comes from Acts 2:47 "And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved."
In 2011 we want to be the kind of people that God uses day by day to save lives.

How will that happen?
If each of us resolves to lead someone to Jesus.

In 2011 I'm asking you, as your pastor, to pray that God would use you to lead someone to saving faith in Jesus.
Make yourself available everyday to God, and to the people you love.

For the rest of January we want to give you tools and encouragement in this mission:
~ How to share the message of salvation (January 9).
~ The importance of reading the bible (January 16).
~ Why we need to pray (January 23).
~ Why we need to give (January 30).

But for now, today, and everyday, make this your heart's prayer:

"God, in 2011, use me to lead someone to you."

Next to accepting Jesus as our savior, inviting others to accept Him is the most important thing we can do with our time on earth.
